Fissure Sealants

Fissure sealants is a procedure applied on the chewing surface of molars to protect them against decay. Fissure sealant is filled inside the deep pits on the chewing surface after having cleaned the tooth. In this manner, the pits that are difficult to clean are prevented from getting full of food scraps and the teeth are protected against cavities.
