Impacted Wisdom Teeth Operations

The reason why impacted wisdom teeth constitute a problem is, we genetically no longer need these teeth and our jaws shrank over time. As our jaws shrink, the wisdom teeth begin to have troubles finding a place for themselves and therefore they cannot erupt as regular teeth do. Wisdom teeth that have troubles finding a place for themselves apply pressure on other teeth and this leads to crowding.
Wisdom teeth which erupted fully do not usually constitute a problem, however it is difficult to brush them since they are situated too far back. Therefore, as a preventive measure, it is recommended to extract them.
